Who is Deb Ramos?
I have been the Administrative Assistant to Michael Leonardo for more than seven years, joining the Axis practice with Michael in November, 2020. I have many years of administrative experience, including my former role of Chamber Executive for the North Central Chamber of Commerce. Previous to joining Axis, I was with Ameriprise Financial Services. My role includes assisting clients with operational and administrative support, client onboarding, contact and document management and more. I am proud to say I feel my greatest asset is customer service.
What do you enjoy most about being part of the Axis Team?
I enjoy being part of the Axis Team, together working as a “family” servicing all of our clients. I most enjoy working with our clients, whether to set up and/or solve issues with RMD distributions, etc. and being the clients’ go-to person for any questions they might have.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
The best advice I have ever received is love what you DO and those that you DO for will recognize and appreciate the passion and love you have for your job! I love helping people!
When you are not in the office, you can be found doing what?
Most of all, I enjoy spending time with my adult children and all our family pets. In addition, I love the beach, dining out, outdoor walks, golf, tennis and dabbling in photography. Recently, I’ve been working on my “bucket list” which surprisingly includes finally learning how to swim! It’s been a challenge to say the least!
For what in life do you feel the most grateful?
First and foremost, my health! Additionally, of course my two wonderful children, my family and the many good friends who have crossed my path throughout life.
What are you most passionate about?
My passion has always been about being helpful and kind. A goal of mine in raising my children was to always be kind; matter of fact, for my son’s recent wedding he chose “Humble and Kind” by Tim McGraw for OUR dance because he stated that is what I taught him.
